For theatre teams

Make the information part of the visit.

Give audiences a way to find specific lighting details before they arrive, and a person to speak to when they have questions.

The FlashCue app

Bring FlashCue to your theatre.

Give audience members production-specific cue information and a quiet heads-up in the theatre before each flash sequence.

Before a ticket is booked

Place a direct link to your production’s FlashCue page beside its access information. Use descriptive link text such as “Read the lighting information for this production.”

Make the same information available in previsit emails and through box office staff. A general warning can alert someone to an effect; the linked details help them decide what to do next.

At the theatre

Use a readable sign with both a short written URL and a QR code. Staff should know where to find the show’s cue information and how to connect visitors with the access team.

Open the signage toolkit

Keep the listing current

Nominate a contact for lighting information and corrections. Confirm the record matches the venue, run, and lighting version, and update it when the design, staging, or tour venue changes. Make printed text available when a digital format is a barrier.

Bring your production to FlashCue

Work with your lighting team to provide the cue details, then link the listing from your access page.
